“Bulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Astronomy is a periodical peer-reviewed open access scientific journal (under the BOAI definition). It allows users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. The journal publishes original research results in the fields of relativistic astrophysics and cosmology, multi-messenger astronomy, extragalactic astronomy and galaxy evolution, stellar physics and the interstellar medium, planetary science and exoplanets, astrobiology, solar physics and small bodies of the Solar System, astrometry, celestial mechanics, atmospheric physics and near-Earth plasma, and space weather. By its status, it is a national publication with a nationwide distribution. The journal is intended for researchers, PhD students, and senior students specializing in astronomy and space physics.
The journal is included in the List of Scientific Professional Editions of Ukraine, authorized for publishing the results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
